EgyTopia coordinator will meet you at Aswan Airport, Railway station or your hotel to escort you to the Nile Cruise. Meet and Assist at Aswan Airport / Railway Station. Check in your Nile Cruise then enjoy lunch onboard. After lunch, start Aswan sightseeing by paying a visit to the High Dam, the most significant engineering project in modern Egypt to control the water of the Nile and to produce electricity. enjoy a motor boat ride to the Temple of Isis, located on the island of Philae, one of the temples which were saved by the UNESCO after being under water for a long time. The temple marks both the end of the Ancient Egyptian Religion and the last Ancient Egyptian Text carved the year 394 AD. Wrap your day by visiting the Quarry of Granite where the unfinished Obelisk still there. If it was fully finished, it was supposed to be the largest ever obelisk in the whole world.
Dinner on board, Sailing to Kom Ombo.
In the early morning, after breakfast (served in breakfast boxes), you will be transferred to Abu Simbel by comfortable car. The ride takes around 3.5 hours to get to the site. The two temples of Abu Simbel temple on the southern borders of Egypt. You will be dazzled by these rock-cut temples which were saved by the UNESCO after being under water for a long time. Both temples are dedicated to the Royal Couple, Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Later on, you drive back to the cruise to enjoy the rest of the day in the cruise.
Enjoy your breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. After breakfast, start your visit to the temple of Kom Ombo. It is a walking distance site dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek, and the falcon god, Her Wer. In your way out of the temple, enjoy a quick visit to the Crocodile Mummification Museum. later on, walk back to the Cruise and continue sailing to Edfu while having your lunch. Afterwards, get ready for one of the highlights of the tour, the Temple of Horus at Edfu on a horse carriage. It is the most complete (intact) temple in ancient Egypt. The temple was built between 237-157 BC, so pure Greek temple. It is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and bears wall scenes for the famous conflict between Horus and his uncle Seth. Later on, you go back to the cruise to continue cruising to Luxor.
Dinner on board, Overnight in Luxor.
Early in the morning and after having breakfast, you check out of the Cruise and start your visit to the two banks of Luxor. First, we cross the Nile to the West Bank of Luxor to start our visit to the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of the child king Tutankhamun where you will have the chance to stand in front of his Mummy. Also, your tour will include access to the tomb of Ramses VI and the Highlight of the day Tomb of Seti I, the most colorful tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Visit the temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most famous and powerful women kings in Egyptian history. Enjoy a quick photo stop by the colossi of Memnon.
After having lunch at a good quality local restaurant, wrap your day by visiting the Temples of Karnak, which is around 247 acres making it the largest religious complex in the world. It is dedicated to the god Amon-Re, the most famous god during the New Kingdom.
End of the day, our coordinator will escort you to your destination filled with all good memories about Egypt.
